"This community has supported us through thick and thin, through COVID, through a base closure, through whatever it may be at the time," Zastoupil said. "This community of Pensacola has given us a lot, and we want to give back to the community. We're so excited to fly here this weekend." Zastoupil said the team is monitoring the weather and hasn't seen anything yet that would cause the show not to go forward. There may be adjustments for wind or cloud cover that may cause the team to perform a "low show" where its high-altitude maneuvers are skipped. "This is what is going to be the culminating event for the 2022 team, and we get to fly it right here over our home base in front of our families and our friends and the community that we love," Zastoupil said.
